DIG Hazara orders crackdown on crime ahead of Ramadan

ABBOTTABAD, Feb 11 (APP):Deputy Inspector General of Police Hazara Nasir Mahmood Satti Wednesday reviewed the law and order situation and public service delivery across the Hazara Division ahead of Ramadan during a meeting with all District Police Officers (DPOs) of the region.
DIG Hazara directed police to intensify crackdowns against anti-state elements, organized criminal groups, drug dealers, proclaimed offenders, and those involved in human trafficking, using intelligence-based operations and modern technology.
In line with the directives of IG KP Police Zulfiqar Hameed, he ordered the early establishment of additional Police Facilitation Centers in all districts to improve public access to police services.
Issuing special instructions for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, DIG Hazara emphasized foolproof security arrangements at mosques, imambargahs, Taraweeh congregations, iftar points, markets, and other crowded places, along with enhanced patrolling and traffic management.
He also directed priority completion of investigations in heinous cases, including murder, kidnapping, robbery, and narcotics, warning that no compromise would be made on investigation standards and strict action would be taken against negligent officers.
