DI Khan Police crack down on robbery, theft: 14 arrested, stolen goods recovered

DI KHAN, Nov 24 (APP):Dera Ismail Khan Police have achieved major successes against robberies and thefts, arresting 14 accused, including an inter-provincial gang and a female robber involved in several incidents.
According to APP correspondent, the arrested gang is wanted by the Punjab Police in 17 cases of theft and robbery.
District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Sajjad Ahmed Sahibzada announced this during an emergency press conference at the Command and Control Center.
The police recovered four stolen vehicles, 25 motorcycles, 12 mobile phones, and Rs 4,000 in cash from the suspects. A pistol with ammunition was also seized.
SP City Division Ali Hamza Butt, along with DSP City Circle Hafiz Muhammad Adnan, led operations against motorcycle thieves and robbers, arresting a three-member gang.
The gang, comprising Akhtar Muhammad, Gulab Khan, and Arif, was involved in multiple incidents. The police recovered 17 stolen Honda 125 motorcycles and two 70cc motorcycles from their possession.
DPO emphasized that the protection of life and property is a top priority, stating that the people will not be left at the mercy of thieves and robbers.
He assured that Dera District Police will continue to work tirelessly to root out crimes and maintain law and order in the area.
