RAWALPINDI, Nov 06 (APP):The Dhamial Police arrested a man accused of committing a house theft about two weeks ago and recovered Rs 3,000,000 allegedly obtained through the sale of stolen gold ornaments.
According to a Rawalpindi Police spokesman on Thursday, the suspect was traced and apprehended after investigators employed both technical and human intelligence methods.
The spokesman said the recovery was made following the suspect’s disclosure and subsequent identification of the place where the sale proceeds of stolen jewellery had been concealed.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Saddar Muhammad Nabeel Khokhar directed the Dhamial Police to prepare a case against the accused with solid evidence to ensure his conviction by the court.
