LAHORE, Oct 15 (APP): Director General (DG) Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Lahore Mansoor Ahmad paid a visit to Nasser Bagh Lahore to review ongoing maintenance and improvement works.
He was accompanied by Director Horticulture Zone-I Mustafa Shad. During the visit, the DG conducted a detailed inspection of the park’s cleanliness, horticultural maintenance and overall condition.
He issued specific instructions to further enhance the park’s beauty and to ensure the provision of high-quality recreational facilities for the public.
DG Mansoor Ahmad directed that all areas with damaged or worn-out grass should be immediately replanted and the cleanliness system must be made more effective and efficient. He also ordered that the pond inside the park should be drained, thoroughly cleaned and refilled with fresh water. While inspecting the park, the DG closely examined the condition of the plants, grass and sanitation and instructed the on-ground staff to take immediate measures for improvement.
Later, DG PHA also visited the under-construction greenbelt in front of Istanbul Chowk near Town Hall. He reviewed the progress of the project and directed the concerned teams to complete it at the earliest.
