MULTAN, Jul 10 (APP):Director General Parks and Horticulture (PHA) Asif Rauf Khan directed officers concerned to complete all ongoing development projects at Jinnah Park to restore recreational activities in the park.
During his visit to Jinnah Park here on Wednesday, the DG PHA said that jogging track would be made operational at the earliest while other development work would also be completed with rapid pace.
He said that the PHA was striving hard to ensure maximum facilities for masses at parks and taking care of green belts of the city. He said that different initiatives were being taken to upgrade parks and green belts under the vision to improve beauty of the city.
He said that under the initiative of parks Upgradation, auction of canteens, motorcycle stands and swings has been completed in first phase and 13,000 saplings have been planted at miyawaki juggles in the second phase while work continued on construction of offices at parks, restoration of jogging tracks and installation of lights in the third phase of Upgradation project.
He said that jogging track of Jinnah Park has been completed and task has been given to officer concerned beautification of park.
