LAHORE, Jan 30 (APP): National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore Director General (DG) Mirza Faran Baig on Friday presided over a monthly open court (khuli kutchehri) at NAB Lahore, where he met citizens to hear their grievances and ensure prompt resolution of complaints.
According to details, a total of 419 complainants participated in the session, most of whom were affectees of fraudulent and illegal housing schemes. The complaints mainly pertained to Future Vision, Al-Noor Orchard, Gutwala Commercial Faisalabad, Omega Residencia, Al Jalil Garden, Al Rehman Garden, Prime Zone, Khayaban-e-Amin, Pak-Arab Housing Scheme and several other private schemes.
The DG NAB personally listened to the complaints and issued on-the-spot directives to the concerned directors and officers for expeditious action in all cases. He reiterated NAB’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the rights of affectees and ensuring justice through a transparent process.
Under the vision of chairman NAB and the zero-tolerance policy against public fraud, Mirza Faran affirmed that strict legal action would be taken against those involved in deceiving citizens. The participants appreciated NAB Lahore’s proactive approach and termed the open court an effective mechanism for transparency, public facilitation and swift redressal of grievances.
