HYDERABAD, Jan 10 (APP):The Director General livestock Sindh, Hyderabad Dr. Hizbullah Bhutto paid a surprise visit to various veterinary centers in Jhirk, Jhampir and Sari. During the visit, he thoroughly checked the records of the veterinary centers and reviewed the attendance of the staff.
According to a statement issued on Saturday, the Director General also inspected the ongoing vaccination activities and instructed the staff to further accelerate and make the vaccination campaign more effective so that livestock farmers of the area could receive maximum benefit. He emphasized that services should be provided to farmers at their doorsteps to ensure the prevention of livestock diseases.
On this occasion, the Deputy Director livestock development, Kohistan at Thano Bola Khan Dr. Abdul Aziz Rustamani was also present with the DG. He termed the visit an important step toward improving the performance of the livestock sector and advised the staff to perform their duties with full responsibility.
The livestock farmers of the area appreciated the Director General’s visit and expressed hope that such initiatives would bring further improvement in the livestock sector.
