BAHAWALPUR, Jan 18 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur, Syed Hassan Raza, visited various localities of the city to review the pace of work on ongoing development projects.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner issued special instructions for the immediate removal of encroachments around Dring Stadium. He stated that all encroachments in the area would be cleared without delay, followed by the installation of tuff tiles and the completion of overall renovation work at the earliest.
Meanwhile, Syed Hassan Raza expressed strong displeasure with the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) over the placement of broken flowerpots around DC Office Chowk. He directed the concerned officials to repair the damaged pots immediately and plant evergreen plants in them, emphasizing that no compromise would be made on the city’s aesthetics.
The Deputy Commissioner underscored that, in line with the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab, all departments must fulfill their responsibilities to transform Bahawalpur into a clean, green, and beautiful city, warning that no negligence or carelessness would be tolerated.
