DERA ISMAIL KHAN , Jun 24 (APP):In a major step against criminal activities, the Band Korai Police of Dera Ismail Khan arrested three suspects and seized a quantity of drugs and illegal firearms during successful operations.
According to the police spokesman, The operations were carried out under the supervision of District Police Officer Sajjad Ahmad Sahabzada, as part of the police department’s ongoing and indiscriminate crackdown on crime across the district. SP Paharpur Muhammad Irfan Khan and DSP Paharpur Noor Haider Khan led the efforts, in collaboration with SHO Zeeshan Iqbal of Band Korai Police Station.
During the operation, police arrested Jan Wali, son of Haji Mardan, a resident of Kach, and recovered 230 grams of crystal meth (ice) from his possession. Another suspect, Imran, son of Sahib Jan resident of Girsal, was taken into custody for possession of a 30-bore pistol along with ammunition. In a separate raid, Muhammad Rizwan, son of Muhammad Ramzan, resident of Girsal, was apprehended with a 12-bore repeater and ammunition.
All three suspects were arrested on the spot, and formal cases have been registered against them in accordance with the law.
The Dera Ismail Khan Police reiterated their resolve to continue such operations without discrimination, ensuring safety and rule of law in the region.
