KOHAT, Nov 5 (APP):In line with the public welfare agenda set forth by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Deputy Commissioner of Kohat has initiated direct engagement with citizens to identify and resolve pressing community concerns.
In this regard, during a dedicated public meeting held at his office on Wednesday, the Deputy Commissioner welcomed residents from various neighborhoods, listened attentively to their grievances, and gathered firsthand accounts of challenges affecting daily life. Issues raised ranged from infrastructure gaps and sanitation concerns to administrative delays and access to essential services.
Responding swiftly, the Deputy Commissioner issued immediate directives to the relevant departments, emphasizing the need for prompt action and coordinated efforts. “Our priority is to ensure timely relief and tangible solutions for the people of Kohat,” he stated, reaffirming the district administration’s commitment to responsive governance.
Local residents expressed appreciation for the opportunity to voice their concerns directly and welcomed the assurance of swift redressal.
On this occasion, while exclusively talking to APP, the Deputy Commissioner reiterated that such interactions will continue regularly, fostering a culture of accountability and trust between the administration and the community.
