NAWABSHAH, Jan 17 (APP):Dense fog engulfed the city early morning, reducing visibility to near zero and severely disrupting daily life.
The thick fog caused slow traffic movement across major roads and highways, creating difficulties for commuters to reach their destinations. Authorities advised motorists to adopt precautionary measures, particularly on highways and link roads, as cold and humid weather conditions persisted.
The Meteorological Department also urged citizens to remain cautious while traveling during foggy conditions.
Meanwhile, a road accident occurred in Nawabshah due to poor visibility caused by the dense fog, when two passenger coaches collided on the national highway. As a result of the collision, more than seven passengers sustained injuries. Upon receiving information about the incident, police and rescue teams rushed to the scene and initiated relief operations. The injured were shifted to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.
