KARACHI, Sep 06 (APP):Speaker of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh Syed Awais Qadir Shah on Defence Day said that Defence Day is a symbol of national unity and collective strength.
He said that no power in the world can defeat the resolve of a united nation.
The Speaker Provincial Assembly of Sindh paid tribute to the martyrs, veterans and their families. He said that during the 1965 war, the nation and its armed forces foiled the enemy’s nefarious designs.
Shah said that the sacrifices of our martyrs are a guiding light for generations to come.
The spirit of September 6 was once again demonstrated during Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, he said adding that the victory in the Battle of Truth (Marka e Haq) is a continuation of the spirit of patriotism.
