DCs directed to ensure rain emergency plans be implemented

KARACHI, Jul 09 (APP):Commissioner Syed Hassan Naqvi on Tuesday directed all the Deputy Commissioners (DCs) to ensure implementation rain emergency plans in letter and spirit.

In view of the rains, the Commissioner directed them to stay in touch with all relevant organizations to maintain order during showers.

Meanwhile, the DCs have informed the Commissioner that the concerned organizations have already been alerted after the rains and they were in the field for water drainage while all Assistant Commissioners have also been directed to remain in the field and be ready to deal with any emergency situation.
