PESHAWAR, Jan 15 (APP):Dairy and Cattle Farm Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (DCFAKP) in collaboration with KP Livestock and Dairy Development Department here Wednesday arranged a seminar for orientation and awareness of farmers.
President DCFAKP, Major Retired Athar Khan welcomed the participants and highlighted the aim and objectives of the association for promotion of livestock sector. He said that association was making persistent efforts for Khushal Farmer and Khushal Farmer.
Secretary Livestock and Fishries Cooperative Development KP, Fakhr-e-Alam assured cooperation to farmers and initiating steps for their guidance and assistance. He said country have plenty resources that would be utilized to increase production of livestock sector.
Brigadier Ehtesam of Green Cooperative Livestock Initiative said that introduction of new breeds of world fame in Pakistan is necessary to strengthen our livestock sector. He said that Pakistan Army is also working to transfer Embryo Transfer Technology to develop livestock sector in the country adding that we desire to support farmers by increasing production of livestock sector.
He said that livestock and dairy sector would be developed with mutual cooperation of stakeholders and cattle farmer association to tackle challenges of food security in the country.
