SUKKUR,Jul 22 (APP):Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sukkur, Dr Raja MB Dharejo on Monday chaired a meeting at his office regarding Tree Plantation Campaign.
The deputy commissioner said that the Tree Plantation Campaign has commenced in which 100,000 samplings will be planted across the district.
He said that the tree cutting is a crime and cases should be registered against the violaters.
He directed the forest department to achieve 100% targets during the campaign. He said trees clean the atmosphere and provide a healthy environment to the people.
The meeting was attended by representatives from Aror University, Begum Nusurat Bhutto Women University, Municipal Corporation and other officials.
