SHEIKHUPURA, Jan 17 (APP):Deputy Commissioner, Shahid Imran Marth on Friday chaired a meeting to review arrangements for anti-polio campaign which will be started from February, 3 in the district .
He directed officials of Health, Education, Revenue and Police departments to utilize their best efforts for the success of the drive.
Assistant Commissioner, Bilawal Ali, CEO, health, Dr Saddiq Baloch, District Health Officer (DHO), District Emergency Officer and official of other concerned department attended the meeting.
The CEO health briefing the meeting said that 2929 mobile teams would vaccinate anti-polio drops to children on their doorsteps during 5-day campaign, adding while 115 fixed team had been formed to immunize anti-polio drops to children at Basic Health Units (BHU), railway stations and bus stops.
He said 55 transit polio teams had been formed for immunizing polio drops at chowks , bazaars and various bust stops.
A total of 3099 teams would performed duties during the campaign, he added.
The campaign aimed to administrator anti-polio drops to 758,490 children up to five years in the district, the CEO said.
Later, the deputy commissioner distributed honorary certificates among best performers of pervious anti-polio campaign.
