KHANEWAL, Jan 09 (APP):The district administration on Friday intensified efforts to ensure the timely completion of three Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) stations across Khanewal,Kabirwala and Mian Channu,reflecting a commitment to enhancing law enforcement infrastructure and public service delivery.
A high-level meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Maliha Rasheed reviewed the revised cost estimates and progress of the ongoing projects.
The meeting included a detailed briefing on the pace of construction and the challenges faced by the executing departments.
The Assistant Commissioners(AC) of Khanewal and Kabirwala,along with the Deputy Director Development and officials from the Buildings Department,PHA and Highways Department participated in the meeting.
They emphasized the importance of inter-departmental coordination for the successful completion of the projects.
DC Maliha Rasheed directed the concerned departments to accelerate the pace of work and ensure that all projects were completed within the specified timelines.
She also instructed the Assistant Commissioners to conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and prevent delays.
Additionally,the DC announced that a new enforcement station has been approved for Jahanian,with construction to begin shortly.
Strengthening enforcement infrastructure,according to the DC,was a key priority to improve regulatory oversight and ensure effective governance in the district.
The district administration reaffirmed its commitment to completing these stations efficiently,maintaining transparency,quality standards and timely delivery for the benefit of the public.
