DC orders expediting Madaris registration, over 50 listed in Khanewal so far

KHANEWAL, Jul 22 (APP):Deputy commissioner Dr Salma Suleman on Tuesday ordered the departments concerned to expedite registration of Madaris and promised full cooperation from the district administration to complete the process.
Presiding over a meeting with DGR Education and manager Auqaf, the meeting discussed the matters pertaining to registered and non-registered Madaris and laid emphasis on importance of completing the process early.
Dr Salma Suleman said the district administration would extend full cooperation to the departments concerned in achieving the objective and added that assistant commissioners would also join the effort.
Deputy Director Registration Madaris Multan Muhammad Kashif Raza said that over 50 Madaris have so far been registered in Khanewal district due to efforts made by DG registration Education Lahore and Deputy Commissioner Office. Registration of a Madarsah is free and required only filling in a proforma, he said adding that registration form could be obtained from deputy director’s office in Multan near Metro Chungi No 6.
