HYDERABAD, Nov 03 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Matiari Muhammad Yousif Shaikh on Monday said that providing better healthcare facilities to the people of Matiari was the top priority of the district administration. He expressed these views while addressing as chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of the newly established eye operation theatre and blood bank at the district headquarters (DHQ) hospital, Matiari.
According to a handout, speaking on the occasion, he added that the establishment of the eye operation theatre and blood bank will provide great relief to the public, enabling patients to receive treatment locally while saving both time and expenses.
He further stated that the district administration will continue to fully cooperate with the health department to ensure the provision of better healthcare facilities to the people.
During the ceremony, the Deputy Commissioner formally inaugurated the operating theatre and blood bank by cutting the ribbon. On this occasion, DHO Dr. Asif Hussain Shah, Medical Superintendent of DHQ hospital Dr. Abdul Salam Memon, Colonel Ali Nadeem from Indus Hospital blood bank, ADC-II Matiari Iqra Jannat, assistant commissioner Matiari Abdul Sattar Shaikh, PPP information secretary Matiari Junaid Saleh, General Secretary SPSF Imtiaz Ali Pahore, Dr Ruqayya, and other officials were also present.
