KOHAT, Jan 23 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Kurram, Ashfaq Khan on Friday conducted a detailed inspection of the Citizen Facilitation Center (CFC), Temporary Displaced Persons (TDP) camps, and THQ Hospital Sadda in the wake of recent heavy rainfall and snowfall in the district.
He visited the TDP camps, where he inspected residential facilities, heating arrangements, and water drainage systems.
The DC directed the concerned authorities to ensure cleanliness, proper drainage, and uninterrupted provision of essential services to displaced families.
Later, he visited the CFC in Kharkali and reviewed the men’s and women’s registration counters, separate waiting areas, JazzCash counter, and the complaint cell.
He observed the registration process firsthand and interacted with affected residents to assess their issues and immediate needs.
Ashfaq Khan also visited THQ Hospital Sadda, where he reviewed ongoing construction work, available medical facilities, and patient care services.
He appreciated the efforts being made to improve healthcare facilities at the hospital.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed Rescue 1122, the district administration, and other relevant departments to further expedite snow clearance, road restoration, and emergency response operations to minimize disruption to public movement and ensure the continuity of essential services.
He reaffirmed the district administration’s commitment to ensuring the safety, welfare, and timely assistance of the public during adverse weather conditions.
