FAISALABAD, Jul 15 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Cap (Retd) Nadeem Nasir Tuesday visited various city roads to personally monitor the drainage situation during the rains.
He directed the WASA officials to remain fully alert and keep the drainage system active at all times during the rains. He further directed to ensure immediate drainage of rainwater from all main roads and low-lying areas by keeping machinery functional. He clarified that no negligence will be tolerated during the rains.
Separately, Managing Director Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Suhail Qadir Cheema also visited various areas including Samundri road, Minerva club road, Koh-e-Noor Chowk, Susan road and issued necessary directions to field staff.
