BAHAWALPUR, Nov 15 (APP): Deputy Commissioner Dr. Farhan Farooq visited the Shershah Graveyard and One Unit Chowk to assess the cleanliness arrangements under the Suthra Punjab Program. He was accompanied by CEO Muhammad Naeem Akhtar and Senior Manager Operations Muhammad Imtiazullah. Dr. Farooq conducted a thorough inspection of the sanitation conditions inside the graveyard, where the CEO briefed him on the special measures being implemented to improve and maintain cleanliness across all graveyards in the city.
During the visit, Dr. Farooq directed the concerned authorities to ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in every graveyard within Bahawalpur. He emphasized the effective utilization of available resources to sustain these efforts and instructed that all private contractors in the district be held accountable for maintaining cleanliness in the graveyards within their respective tehsils.
Earlier, Dr. Farooq and Senior Manager Operations also visited the local bus stand to evaluate the sanitation situation. The Deputy Commissioner stressed the need for effective measures to ensure the highest cleanliness standards for passengers at all bus stands in the city.
