SUKKUR, Jul 01 (APP): Deputy Commissioner Sukkur, Dr. M.B Raja Dharejo on Tuesday has issued a public notice informing the livestock owners and general public of Sukkur city that a ban on the free movement of animals on roads, markets, canals, and other public places in Sukkur city will be enforced from July 15, 2025.
Under Section 144, imposed by the Commissioner Sukkur, no person is allowed to leave animals roaming freely on city roads or in canals. The purpose of this ban is to ensure smooth traffic flow, improve health and sanitation, and protect public safety.
The notice warns that violators will face legal action and strict measures will be taken against them. The district administration appeals to the public to cooperate in implementing this decision for the betterment of the city.
