BAHAWALPUR, Jul 24 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Zaheer Anwar Jappa on Wednesday said that providing education on modern lines was the fundamental right of children, enrolled in government schools.
In line with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s vision, all necessary measures will be taken to improve the education system in schools across the district.
He made these remarks during a visit to Government Girls High School Multani Gate Bahawalpur and Government High School Shahdara Bahawalpur, where he reviewed the implementation of tasks assigned to the district administration by
the Chief Minister regarding the improvement of education quality and infrastructure in public schools.
Chief Executive Officer of Education Muhammad Akram and other heads of institutions were also present.
The Deputy Commissioner assessed the facilities for modern education, including IT and science labs. He emphasized that acquiring education was the only path to development and prosperity.
He said that it is essential to provide children in public schools with excellent teaching and educational facilities, similar to those available in other educational institutions, so they could become useful and productive citizens.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner also reviewed developmental projects at Central Jail Bahawalpur, accompanied by Deputy Director Development Faisal Shahzad.
