SARGODHA, Jul 17 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Sargodha Captain (retd) Muhammad Wasim and District Police Officer Muhammad Suhaib Ashraf on Thursday visited the Jhelum River at Langar Wala Pul to assess the preparedness and arrangements for potential flood situations.
According to spokesperson for DC office here, the officials reviewed the establishment of relief camps and arrangements for the safe relocation of citizens in potential flood-affected areas.
They directed the relevant departments to provide all necessary facilities and equipment for rescue operations and to relocate affected populations to safe areas promptly.
The DC emphasized that the district administration is taking all possible measures to respond effectively to any emergency situation, prioritizing the safety of citizens’ lives and property.
The DPO directed rescue teams and law enforcement officials to remain alert, ensuring public safety and cooperation during the potential flood situation.
