BAHAWALPUR, Feb 02 (APP): Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Syed Hassan Raza, along with District Police Officer Rana Abdul Wahab, conducted a detailed review of routes, security arrangements, and overall preparations for the 21st TDCP International Cholistan Desert Rally at Derawar Fort.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Captain (retd) Tayyab Sami Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Muhammad Tayyab, Assistant Commissioner Ahmedpur Sharqia Naveed Haider, and Assistant Commissioner Bahawalpur City Khalil Ahmed were also present on the occasion.
The Deputy Commissioner visited Dilwash Stadium at Derawar Fort, the central venue of the rally, where he inspected ongoing activities, arrangements for participants and spectators, cleanliness, facilities, and overall discipline.
During the visit, he met with rally organizers and received a comprehensive briefing on rally routes, traffic management plans, parking arrangements, participating vehicles, security planning, and emergency response measures.
DC Syed Hassan Raza emphasized that strict discipline, public convenience, and foolproof security will be ensured throughout the rally. He directed all concerned departments to further improve cleanliness arrangements in and around the historic Derawar Fort to provide a pleasant and safe environment to visitors and tourists.
He stated that the 21st TDCP International Cholistan Desert Rally presents an excellent opportunity to highlight the Cholistan region and its rich historical heritage. He added that the event will not only promote motorsports but will also play a significant role in introducing regional tourism, culture, and historical identity at national and international levels.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed relevant officers to complete all arrangements well in time and prioritize public facilitation, ensuring that the 21st TDCP International Cholistan Desert Rally becomes a successful, memorable, and safe international event.
