HYDERABAD, Nov 04 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Zain-ul-Abedin Memon and District Health Officer Dr. Pir Ghulam Hussain visited various hospitals across Hyderabad late on Monday night to inspect dengue wards and ensure that adequate medicines, diagnostic facilities and treatment services are being provided to dengue patients.
According to a handout, DHO teams are actively conducting awareness sessions in communities and schools to educate citizens, especially children, about dengue prevention, hygiene practices and the importance of early detection.
Indoor Residual Spray (IRS) operations are being carried out regularly by field teams, while fumigation drives continue across the city through coordinated efforts of assistant commissioners, town municipal commissioners and union council staff. These efforts aim to eliminate mosquito breeding sites and protect public health.
The district administration, HMC and health department reaffirm their collective commitment to make Hyderabad dengue-free through coordinated action and community participation.
