Dera Ismail Khan , Jan 04 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan Abdul Nasir Khan visited various parts of the city to review ongoing development works, sanitation arrangements and the status of the anti-encroachment drive.
The Deputy Commissioner first inspected the head office of the Water and Sanitation Services Company (WSSC), where he reviewed renovation work, the parking area and overall office facilities.
He inspected the various sections and offices, rooms, sheds and service deck, and also examined beautification works, including monuments, in the adjacent areas.
On the spot, he issued necessary instructions for further improvement and rehabilitation.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the ongoing anti-encroachment operation in the city. He directed the Assistant Commissioner to immediately remove all encroachments from roads to ensure smooth traffic flow, maintain cleanliness and provide relief to the public.
The Deputy Commissioner also inspected the development work being carried out by the C&W Highways Department on Tehsil Road. Taking notice of temporary encroachments at the site, he ordered their immediate removal to avoid any hindrance to construction activities.
The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the clearance work along the right-of-way of flyovers, including the removal of the church boundary wall and adjacent shops.
The district administration stated that these continuous efforts aim to make Dera Ismail Khan a clean, beautiful and modern city.
Citizens were urged to cooperate with the administration and refrain from encroachments to ensure sustainable urban development.
