KOHAT, Jul 17 (APP):A high-level meeting on Thursday was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Abdul Akram to resolve the problems of Jawaki area of the district.
The officers of C&W Department (Communication and Works), Education Department, Health Department,
Public Health Engineering Department (PHE), TESCO and area elders participated in the meeting.
The objective of the meeting was to review the problems of basic amenities faced by the people in the area and take practical steps for their immediate solution.
The area elders explained their problems in detail during the meeting.
The main problems of the areas have been identified as severe shortage of clean drinking water,
frequent power outages and voltage problems, dilapidated roads and need for urgent repair,
, shortage of teachers in government schools, security concerns due to lack of boundary walls in some schools,
and non-availability of health facilities.
The deputy commissioner issued instructions to the officers of all the concerned
departments present on the spot to resolve these issues on priority
basis.
He stressed that public welfare was the top priority of the government and any kind of negligence or delay would not be tolerated.
At the end of the meeting, the elders of the area appreciated the district administration for taking measures to resolve their area’s issues.
