DC Abbottabad reviews district performance and education sector reforms

ABBOTTABAD, Oct 22 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Sarmad Saleem Akram chaired two key meetings under the Good Governance Roadmap and Public Agenda at the DC Office to review district performance and progress in the education sector.
During the District Performance Review Committee meeting, the DC emphasized coordinated efforts among departments for efficient service delivery, improved sanitation, and timely resolution of public grievances.
He directed strict enforcement of the Consumer Protection Act, enhanced inspection mechanisms, and better coordination with the provincial government.
In the Education Monitoring Authority meeting, the DC reviewed school performance, teacher deployment, and enrollment improvement measures.
 He directed preparation of a comprehensive report on low-enrollment schools and ensured that teacher rationalization would be done on merit and requirement.
Deputy Commissioner Sarmad Saleem Akram reaffirmed that good governance, transparency, and educational improvement remain top priorities of the district administration.
