RAWALPINDI, Feb 06 (APP): Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Barrister Danyal Chaudhry on Friday strongly condemned the suicide blast at a mosque in the Tralai area of the federal capital, expressing deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious human lives.
Barrister Danyal, in a statement, said the suicide attack on innocent and unarmed worshippers during Friday prayers was a tragic and cowardly act. He said terrorists were enemies of humanity and had no link with any religion.
He said the terrorists linked to Fitna al-Hindustan would never succeed in their nefarious designs, adding that their cowardly acts could not shake the resolve of the security forces and the entire nation in the fight against terrorism.
He said the need of the hour was a united stand for peace, tolerance and stability, and complete solidarity with law enforcement agencies.
Barrister Danyal said he was deeply saddened by the loss of lives in the incident, extending heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the families of the martyrs, and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
He also prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs, patience for the bereaved families, and that Allah Almighty protect Pakistan from all forms of extremism and terrorism.
