BUREWALA, Feb 19 (APP): During routine patrolling near Pul Langrial, unknown assailants opened fire on a police party, police said.
One of the suspects attempted to flee on a motorcycle, but lost control near Bhutto Colony, crashing and sustaining injuries. The suspect was immediately apprehended by police.
Authorities recovered a motorcycle and a pistol from the suspect’s possession. SDPO Burewala Circle, Rana Muhammad Imran Tipu, arrived at the scene to oversee the operation.
The injured suspect has been identified as Muhammad Abid, resident of 445 EB, who has a criminal record including theft and robbery cases. SHO Rana Saqib Nazir confirmed that Muhammad Abid was transferred to a hospital for medical treatment.
