PESHAWAR, Dec 14 (APP):A curfew has been imposed in the Jandola subdivision of Tank district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
During the curfew hours, all forms of movement have been completely banned.
According to official sources, all routes leading from Jandola to Upper Waziristan have been closed and traffic has been suspended. Markets and bazaars will also remain closed throughout the curfew period.
The Home and Tribal Affairs Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa issued a formal notification on the recommendation of Deputy Commissioner Tanveer Khattak. The notification clearly states that the curfew will remain in force in Jandola until 6:00 PM.
Authorities further confirmed that all roads from Korr Fort to Jandola and onward to Upper Waziristan will stay closed during the curfew to ensure security and maintain law and order.
Residents have been advised to stay indoors and cooperate with the administration.
