RAWALPINDI, Mar 04 (APP):City Traffic Police (CTP) Rawalpindi have continued their road safety and traffic awareness campaign to educate students here on Wednesday.
According to a police spokesperson, the Traffic Education Wing visited schools and provided detailed awareness sessions to students about traffic signs and road safety laws. During the campaign, children were also given practical demonstrations through a specially designed road map model to help them understand traffic rules in a real-life setting.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi, Farhan Aslam said that children are the future of the country and their proper training and safety is a collective responsibility. He emphasized that along with religious and worldly education, traffic education is equally important for young students.
He said traffic awareness enables every child to understand how to behave responsibly on the road. By learning and following traffic signs and rules, they can protect not only themselves but also others from accidents. The CTO further stated that understanding and responsibly following traffic laws reflects a civilized nation. “Life is precious and should not be at risk due to negligence on the road,” he added.
