PESHAWAR, Oct 07 (APP):Chief Secretary (CS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shahab Ali Shah Tuesday chaired a meeting on Digital Khyber Pakhtunkhwa discussing digitization road-map of the province.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary Information Technology, MD Information Technology Board and other relevant officials.
It was informed that a total of 1,192 services would be digitized across departments by 2030 with 377 services targeted for digitization in the first year. Significant milestones achieved include Digital Muhasil for district administration, online motor vehicle registration Dastak App, housing scheme applications being accepted online, e-stamping and online driving license services.
The Chief Secretary directed that manual systems must be discontinued for all digitized services effective October 15, 2025.
He instructed all secretaries to prioritize digitization, particularly for public-oriented services and assured that rationalized resources would be provided to accelerate the province’s digital transformation. Departments were also directed to share data on citizen usage of digitized services and applications.
