RAWALPINDI, Dec 04 (APP): City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani on Thursday hosted a farewell ceremony at the Police Lines Headquarters in honour of two senior officers transferred from the Rawalpindi Police.
The officers include Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Kashif Zulfiqar, who has been posted as District Police Officer (DPO) Chakwal, and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Investigation Raza Tanvir Supra, transferred as District Police Officer (DPO) Murree.
According to a police spokesman, the ceremony was attended by the Chief Traffic Officer, the Superintendent of Police (SP) Crime Investigation Agency, the SP Security, divisional SPs, Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) and other senior officers.
CPO Hamdani, along with other officials, presented commemorative shields and gifts to the departing officers in recognition of their service.
The CPO said the two SSPs had worked with commitment during their tenure in Rawalpindi, adding that their “valuable services to the Rawalpindi Police were truly commendable”. He extended his best wishes to both officers for their future assignments.
Senior officers also lauded the outgoing SSPs for their professionalism and contributions to policing in the district.
