RAWALPINDI, Jun 18 (APP):A local court on Tuesday handed down a 25-year prison sentence to Tahir Saleem for sexually assaulting a woman under the pretext of shopping.
The criminal was also fined Rs.500,000.0 and ordered to pay Rs 200,000.0 compensation to the victim. The case was registered at Pirwadhai Police Station in March 2024.
“The thorough investigation and solid evidence ensured justice prevailed,” said CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani while commending the investigation and legal teams.
