Court extends physical remand of DSP accused of killing wife, daughter

LAHORE, Dec 18 (APP): A local court on Thursday extended the physical remand of DSP Usman Haider, accused of murdering his wife and daughter, by four days.

Police produced the accused before a judicial magistrate after the expiry of his earlier physical remand and requested further remand for investigation purposes. The prosecutor informed the court that additional interrogation of the accused was required, seeking an extension in the physical remand.

After hearing the arguments, the court approved the request and extended the physical remand. The magistrate directed the police to produce the accused again on December 22.

Police Station Burki had registered a case against DSP Usman Haider on charges of killing his wife and daughter.
