Court awarded life jail to three in murder case
SARGODHA, Jul 18 (APP):Additional District and Sessions Judge Bhalwal Haider Ali Arif on Saturday awarded life imprisonment to three accused in a murder case.
According to the prosecution, accused Umar Irshad, in connivance with Irshad Ahmed and Shehbaz Munshi, had killed their fellow villager Sajid Mehdi following an exchange of harsh words. A case was registered at Bhalwal Sadar Police Station.
Police presented challans before the court for trial, and after hearing arguments from both sides, the court found all three accused guilty and sentenced them to life imprisonment. The court also imposed a fine of Rs1 million each under relevant sections of the Pakistan Penal Code, including Section 302.
