FAISALABAD, Mar 01 (APP):Sargodha Road police claimed to have arrested a couple after nine months for killing their brother over marriage dispute.
A police spokesman said that Mst. Saba Naseem of Manzoor Park had arranged marriage with Anees against the will of her family.
On May 20, 2025, accused Saba Naseem along with her spouse Anees came to her brother Fayyaz Ahmad’s house and exchanged hot words over marriage dispute.
During this altercation, the accused, Anees, allegedly opened fire and serious injured Fayyaz who later on died in the hospital while the accused managed to escape from the scene.
The police started investigation and now succeeded in arresting the couple on murder charges.
