BAHAWALPUR, Jun 21 (APP): The Agriculture Department has urged cotton growers to use pesticides spray over standing crops in view of attack of virus and bugs.
According to a press release issued here, Agriculture Department has issued advisory for cotton growers of Bahawalpur region to use pesticides spray over their standing crops of cotton in view of attack of virus and bugs. “Agricultural scientists have observed presence of black dots on leaves of standing crops of cotton,” it said.
“Pest Warning Center of the Agriculture Department has noticed presence of black dots during observation conducted at 644 spots,” it said. The advisory added that cases of white fly and other types of bugs were also being reported in standing crops of cotton. The farmers were urged to timely spray pesticides spray over standing crops of cotton at their agricultural fields.
