FAISALABAD, Aug 13 (APP):Unidentified assailants shot dead a construction contractor under mysterious circumstances in the area of Khurarianwala police station.
Police spokesman said here on Tuesday that construction contractor Talha Basharat was going on Express Way Road near Wapda Town where unknown assailants opened fire at him. As a result, Talha Basharat received serious injuries and died on the spot before getting any medical treatment.
The police took the body into custody and dispatched it to mortuary for postmortem while further investigation was under progress for arrest of the accused who managed to escape from the scene after firing, he added.
