COMSATS university, ANF hold anti-drug awareness session in Wah cantt

WAH CANTT, May 8 (APP):COMSATS University Wah Cantt campus, in collaboration with the Anti Narcotics Force (ANF), organized an awareness session on anti-drug and anti-tobacco prevention at the campus auditorium on Friday.
According to APP correspondent, the session aimed to educate students about the dangers of substance abuse and promote a healthy and responsible lifestyle among youth.

The session was delivered by Lt. Col Humair Azam, who shared expert insights on drug abuse prevention, tobacco control, and the importance of collective efforts in building a drug-free society.
He highlighted the social, psychological, and legal consequences of narcotics and tobacco use, urging students to stay away from harmful substances and adopt healthy habits.
The awareness session was attended by faculty members, administrative staff, and a large number of students, particularly from first and final year classes, who actively participated in the interactive discussion.
Participants appreciated the informative and engaging session, describing it as a timely initiative to raise awareness among youth about the harmful impacts of drug addiction and tobacco consumption.
At the conclusion of the event, the university administration presented a souvenir to the guest speaker in recognition of his valuable contribution.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. Samina Nawab, who appreciated the efforts of the guest speaker and thanked participants for their active involvement in making the awareness session successful.
