BAHAWALPUR, Feb 10 (APP): Commissioner Musarrat Jabeen visited the Maryam Nawaz Health Clinic BHU in Jhangiwala, where she met patients and children seeking treatment and
reviewed medical facilities being provided.
During the visit, she inspected the pharmacy to assess the availability of medicines and listened to the concerns of patients. She directed officials to ensure the provision of quality, effective, and timely healthcare services to the public.
Expressing strong displeasure over poor cleanliness arrangements at the BHU, the Commissioner ordered immediate improvement and stated that negligence in hygiene standards will not be tolerated. She also instructed authorities to expedite ongoing revamping work, install prominent direction boards for public guidance, and enhance the overall medical environment.
Musarrat Jabeen emphasized that improving basic healthcare facilities remains a top priority of the government and warned that strict action will be taken against negligence.
She directed Director Health Services Dr. Syed Tanveer Shah to ensure close monitoring of development work to provide a safe and improved healthcare environment for the public.
