KOHAT, Jul 25 (APP):Commissioner Kohat, Mutasim Billah Shah on Friday paid a detailed visit to important industrial establishments in the city.
He inspected Kohat Cement Factory Limited and Babri Textile Mills and reviewed the ongoing production process, labour facilities and issues related to industrial development in the factories.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) and officers of other concerned departments also accompanied him on the occasion.
During the visit, the factory management gave a detailed briefing to the Commissioner and shed light
on the problems faced by the establishments, availability of resources and stages of production.
The commissioner Shah highlighted the importance of industrial establishments and said that the sector played a key role in the economic development of the region.
He directed the officers to take practical steps to remove the obstacles in the way of industrial development so that local industry gets a boost and employment opportunities are created.
