SUKKUR, Feb 07 (APP): Commissioner Sukkur Abid Saleem Qureshi on Saturday has taken notice of the collapse of plaster at the orthopedic operation theater of Civil Hospital Sukkur.
The commissioner visited the hospital to assess the situation, accompanied by Medical Superintendent Dr Ahmad Mujtaba Memon and other officials.
The commissioner directed the hospital administration to immediately relocate the 40 bed orthopedic ward to a safe location, expressing concern over the hazardous condition of the ward.
The Executive Engineer Health Works has been instructed to conduct a detailed inspection of the hospital building and submit a report. The commissioner also informed the Secretary Health Sindh about the situation and recommended immediate action.
