SARGODHA, Jan 02 (APP):A review meeting regarding the provision of missing facilities in government schools and the progress of ongoing development projects was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Sargodha Division, Jehanzaib Awan, on Friday.
According to the spokesperson for the Commissioner’s office here, the meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Sargodha Captain (R) Muhammad Waseem, Additional Deputy Commissioners General of all four districts, Chief Executive Officers Education, Director Development Bilal, and other concerned officers. A detailed briefing was given on the progress achieved so far.
Officials informed the meeting that work is in progress on projects aimed at providing additional classrooms, bathrooms, and other basic facilities in government schools across the division.
The CEOs Education of all four districts presented updates on completed and ongoing works, as well as details regarding the release and utilization of funds.
Addressing the meeting, the Commissioner directed engineers and school heads to ensure regular monitoring of development works, continue field visits, and maintain both quality and pace of construction.
He also instructed that the survey of hazardous school buildings be completed at the earliest so that such structures can be included in upcoming development schemes.
The Commissioner emphasized that improving facilities in government schools is a top priority of the Punjab government and warned that no negligence in this regard would be tolerated.
