FAISALABAD, Jan 02 (APP):Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar visited various Allied Hospital-II and Kaleem Shaheed Park to review the facilities here on Friday.
Deputy Commissioner Cap (retd) Nadeem Nasir also accompanied him. The officers went to Allied Hospital-II (DHQ hospital) and inspected the quality of construction work at the new block.
The Commissioner said modern treatment facilities would be available to the people by completion of the project, and commended the efforts of the Deputy Commissioner Cap (retd) Nadeem Nasir in this regard.
He directed the construction of an external wall of the railway land adjacent to the Allied Hospital-II and painted it.
The Commissioner also visited the 55-acre Kaleem Shaheed Park on Narwala Road and walked on the walking track of the park to observe the facilities.
He assigned a target to the Horticulture Agency for the master planning of the park and said that steps should be taken to activate boating and fountains in the park.
He stressed the need to further organize recreational facilities including building a food court in the park and making the entrance of the park more attractive.
The Deputy Commissioner briefed on the ongoing projects of urban development and beautification.
