LAHORE, Feb 25 (APP):Lahore Divisional Commissioner Marryam Khan visited the Township Ramzan Sahulat Bazaar to review availability and prices of commodities and overall arrangements, here on Wednesday.
Deputy Commissioner Lahore Muhammad Ali Ijaz and SSP Operations Tauqeer Ahmed accompanied her during the visit.
The commissioner specially checked availability and supply of flour, pulses, ghee, meat, sugar, fruits and vegetables at subsidised rates. She also reviewed cleanliness, parking, security and other facilities provided to citizens at the bazaar.
Interacting with shoppers, she sought feedback regarding availability of essential commodities and their prices, and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements. She inspected various functional counters set up at the Sahulat Bazaar to facilitate consumers.
Speaking on the occasion, the commissioner said that quality fruits, vegetables, meat and other essential items were being ensured at Ramzan Sahulat Bazaars, adding that strict monitoring was also being carried out in the open market to prevent overcharging and hoarding.
