PESHAWAR, Feb 01 (APP): Commissioner Riaz Khan Mehsud, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Sanaullah, visited Khyber Medical College (KMC) on Sunday to hold a comprehensive review meeting with Dean, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aurangzeb.
During the session, Commissioner was briefed on institution’s overall performance, including current education system, faculty availability, and professional training provided to students.
The discussion touched upon various administrative matters and specific challenges currently faced by college, with a focus on ensuring that teaching and learning activities continue without any interruptions.
Stressing that provincial government prioritizes high-quality environments in public educational institutions,
Commissioner Mehsud directed authorities to maintain strict discipline, cleanliness, and the provision of essential facilities.
He placed particular emphasis on security, ordering foolproof measures to be implemented for safety of students, faculty, and staff.
Recognizing KMC as a premier medical institution that provides vital healthcare professionals to the country, Commissioner pledged district administration’s full support and resources to resolve outstanding issues and further enhance quality of medical education through strengthened mutual cooperation.
